Platforms at scale

Much of my career has been spent modernizing systems that were not allowed to fail. At Oppenheimer & Co., from 2017 to 2022, I led architecture for the CRM component of a financial advisor relationship management and trading platform inside a brokerage operating at roughly $120 billion in assets under management.

At Progyny, as EVP Operations and CTO, I led a claims and benefits platform that supported more than 500,000 Fortune 500 employees.

Earlier work in travel and airline technology, at SABRE and BizTravel, covered the same discipline: legacy modernization in a regulated environment where the cost of an outage is measured in other people’s money.
